Quarter 2 - Change
Key Topics: Data Analysis, Probability & Equations
10/19/09 - Today you surveyed other 8th grade students using the questions that your topic area created. You need to choose 2 graphing syles (bar graph, etc) that you feel would display your data appropriately. You also need to explain in writing, how or why this type of graph would work. (2 examples, 2 explanations). You may use your textbook to look for graph samples, you may research the internet or this site for other information too. Bring all of your data to class tomorrow!
** 6th HOUR ONLY ** You also may survey other people that you know in the middle school grades (6, 7, 8) tonight since we were not completely successful in getting our questions answered within our own grade.
11/2/09 - Pattern Extra Credit. Based on today's classwork/homework assignment you are also given the opportunity to create your own pattern design for extra credit. Disclaimer: You MUST turn in the regular assignment to be eligible for the extra credit assignment. Here is extra graph/grid paper if you need it.
