Our unit test on algebra and slope was supposed to be this Friday, however it will now be Tuesday next week (1/26/10). We will review everything on Monday, but start studying the concepts now to ensure the best results!
Algebraic Expressions -- how do you solve variable expressions when you are given a value for x and y?
Solving Equations -- how do you solve for the variable (ex: 7x+2=23)
Slope -- Find slope when given two ordered pairs (4,3) and (0,-1) ... be able to graph a line when given an equation ... be able to identify the x and y intercepts of a given line ... be able to understand an use the slope-intercept form y=mx+b (we will be learning this tomorrow and Friday).
